Iosis celebrates her 1st birthday
The new Iosis dental practice in Southgate Street was officially one years old last week on the 6th of September
The practice has been treating patients for just over a year now and has registered over 8000 patients in that time, showing the strong demand for NHS dentistry in the Winchester area.
The practice is unique in that it provides treatment from 8:00am to 8:00pm 7 days a week, so patients can have dental treatment at a time that suits them. The practice is also equipped to a very high standard and provides a modern, relaxed and safe environment. This is the NHS at its best providing high quality modern dentistry, convenient to all.
Dr. Hariri, the managing director of Iosis Clinic said: “We are very pleased to have reached this milestone. It is an opportune time for me to say thank you to the very hard work of my staff, and also thank our patients who have given us great support over the past year. “
Dr. Sadeghzadeh, the clinical director of Iosis Clinic talked about the various oral health initiatives that are planned for 2011: “In 2011, we are planning a whole series of community events, when we would work with community groups and local charities to raise awareness of oral health and the importance of preventative dentistry. Most dental problems are easily preventable if patients come and see us on a regular basis”
Ms. Fletcher – Jones, the practice manager of Iosis Clinic commented on the Clinic opening hours: “Patients are surprised at the extent of our opening hours. The perception out there is still that NHS dentistry is either inaccessible or somehow inferior to private dentistry. Patients are happy to register with an NHS dentists and are even happier when they hear that they can see their dentist at the weekends.”
